Birdsong Retreat is excited to host Monk Party to play a private concert in The Temple of Venus!

Monk Party, from Christchurch,  will be doing a little tour on the Banks Peninsula over Waitangi weekend.  They’ll be playing in Little River, Akaroa, and at Birdsong.

The music of Monk Party is a captivating soulful experience, peacefully and dynamically uplifting the listener with the rich mantras of their spiritual teacher Sri Chinmoy.  Throughout their sound you will hear influences from African, Middle Eastern, and Indian music.

When:   Sunday,  7 Feb, 2 – 4 pm

Cost:     $20 (cash on day)

Bring:    Folding chair/camp chair to sit on, or sit on floor.

20 attendees max.   This will be a very unique and intimate opportunity in the Temple of Venus.
